    1. Inspecting the gas station and gas pipeline through studying of vegetation, soil and water states along the Sasol gas pipeline servitude. 2. Ensuring the quality of the gas product is maintained and that no disruption in gas supply happens, no environmental disturbance happens and the safety of the employees and public is maintained. 3. Issuing of permits for all jobs to be done on the gas station or gas pipeline. 4. Inspection of Sasol gas pipeline servitude for any illegal activities which might jeopardize the gas transfer and put public and environment in danger of explosion and fire. 5. Ensuring safety on the gas station prior to work is maintained through isolating and venting out gas on the line where work will be done. 6. Testing devices, instrumentation and electricity within the gas station works properly (i.e. gauges, volume correctors, meters, valves etc.) 7. Ensuring customers get the correct amount of gas (volume and pressure) and that they are billed correctly. 8. Maintaining the gas station\'s equipment for a better performance and billing through doing of calibrations, checking and changing batteries where needed. 9. Raising awareness in public regarding the dangers that illegal activities on the servitude may cause on the environment, economy and society. 10. Assisting artisans in doing their daily activities in Durban (South, Central and North), anda sometimes Richards Bay and Newcastle.
