Highly experienced, qualified and astute Human Resources and Industrial Relations Management Professional with 16 years experience in HR and ER, 5 years Management experience, Business Partnership, Operations and HR Generalist experience in the mobile telecommunications, Manufacturing, petrochemical and mining industries.
I consider myself as a modern day globally enlightened HR and ER business leader. I possess strong background and collective experience in numerous aspects of HR and ER Management from a top-level strategic planning and management backgrounds. I offer a combination of HR Strategy, Talent Acquisition and Development, Organisational Design, Change Management, HR Compliance & Governance, People Management, Employee Relations, Human Capital Development, Performance Management and Payroll Management competencies.
I possess well-developed communication, planning and organization skills, with a strong aptitude to motivate and train high performance teams and individuals to transfer skills and execute strategies effectively.
In my spare time, I’ve been independently assisting many people across various organisations with IR matters and Employment Equity both in their organisations and at the CCMA for conciliation and arbitrations, pro bono.
I possess a National Diploma (Cum laude), BTech and Post graduate Diploma in HRM. I am currently doing an MCom (Industrial Relations) and BCom (Law) at UKZN and UNISA concurrently, expecting to finish in both December 2021 and 2022 respectively. The reason for doing these qualifications concurrently is that one is research-based, and the other is modular in nature.
I used to occupy senior positions at Tongaat-Hulett, Lightstone and currently at Urban Brew Studios respectively. I have also implemented an Employment Equity infrastructure for a non-profit organisation via my own organisation.
