Duties / Responsibilities • Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing emails. • Providing a high standard of service to our clients include: BP Southern Africa Pty Ltd / Engen Refinery / Shell Down Stream / Unitrans / Man- line / Puma Energy / Total SA and Imperial. • Operating Export Bill of Entry Manager ( Ship Shape) from A-Z • Opening a file to register on ship shape • Arranging customs clearance ( N.B export Bill of entry) • Arranging Provisional clearance entries as per Transnet Freight Rail requires (N.B prior to wagons loading. • Road Shipments- Receiving invoices, delivery note, loading documents from the client, responsible to do quality check and ensure all information is correct and ready for the preparation of the bill of entry • Responsible to process VOC’S if required on a shipment prior to port of exit or Border. • Responsible to write and arrange SADC certificate / Certificate of origin. • Responsible to process Certificate of Chamber if required on (ESS Chamber) or manually. • Following up with the transporter/ ship agent until the cargo reaches its final destination. • Responsible to process documents from A-Z on shipments that via through Africa include ( Mozambique, Swaziland, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Malawi) (N.B Road Shipment) • Responsible to process Sea entries Bunkers for Shell Downstream. • Making sure that the correct Tariff code from the library are used for Lubricating oils mainly (Lubrications oils, Prepared oils, lubricating grease, Radicool, Brake fluid, Car seat cover, floor mats, Sample bottle packs) are correctly used. • Worked with Incoterms mainly FOB, CIF and Ex-works • • Couriering documents (Original B/Ls, SADC certificate / Certificate of origin etc) if requested by client or agent. • Requesting SADC numbers from agent if necessary for some of the shipments if necessary. • Ensuring that all released bill of entries (SAD500/ Release notifications/worksheet/Road manifest, packing list, Hazardous certificate are checked for any potential errors and received prior to loading.
